Dear Marcus,
I have been speaking with Pat Godbold regarding your e-mail, for which I
thank you.
Pat knew Mr Shaw, as she has worked at the Football Club since 1954.
He was a director of from its first days as a
professional Club in 1936 until his death on 1st January 1969.
Mr Shaw for many years owned the Ipswich Greyhound Stadium at London
Road,Ipswich.
