JTrails Contributes to Alderney Land Use Plan as Part of Campaign to protect Alderney Sites of Memory.

As part of JTrails long-term work to protect 'Sites of Memory' on Alderney - the sites of slave labour camps, key work sites, burial sites and execution sites, we made a formal contribution of the ARUP land use plan, which is recognising the importance of protecting sites of memory. We were able to identify additional sites for inclusion, as well as to provide additional historical information to incorporate into the official record, as well as adding our own research on VI construction sites.
