Another Jewish refugee couple, who were stateless refugees, in the area were Mr. and Mr. Edelman, who lodged with the Deelys at Manor Farm in Farthinghoe. During their time in Farthinghoe they completed a correspondence course in agriculture and after the war managed a farm for the Marks (as of Marks and Spencer). It would appear that they did not necessarily know the other Jewish families in Brackley.

There were also other child Jewish evacuees lodged with families in Brackley and the surrounding villages. The other resident Jewish families seemed to be unaware of their presence. For example Sylvie and Helen Shaw (Schevitch) were evacuated from the Jewish East End of London, and stayed with a farming family at 18 High Street, of which they had good memories.

There were also Jewish servicemen in the area, largely at the numerous large RAF air-fields in the area such as at Turweston, Hinton, Croughton and Silverstone, and some of them would come to visit the Jewish families in Brackley, probably by invitation, because Jacqueline Tibber's father, Maurice, was also in the RAF and Derek Froomberg's mother, 'volunteered to drive a canteen truck around the 8 airfields that surrounded the village. She sold or gave away sweets, chocolates and cigarettes to the airmen with her mother sitting in the back (aged 60 plus) smoking away and swapping smutty jokes with the forces!'
